Safe aqua therapy depends on constant awareness of environmental risks.
Orientation
Clients must be shown entry/exit points, handrails, bathrooms, and emergency exits to reduce anxiety and prevent incidents.

Wet Floors
High slip risk. Use non-slip surfaces, clear signage, and appropriate footwear.
Access
Check suitability of ramps, steps, handrails, water depth, and surface grip to prevent falls and unsafe transfers.

Pool Equipments
Inspect all aids (belts, noodles, dumbbells, rails, hoists) for damage, sharp edges, and correct setup before use.
Turbulence
Excess water movement affects balance and safety, especially for elderly and neurological clients.

Chemistry & Visibility
Water must be chemically balanced and clear to prevent irritation, infection risk, and poor supervision.
Music
Music should support engagement but must not interfere with instructions or emergency communication.
